Since 1984, First United Methodist Church of Conway has provided scholarships to graduating high school seniors and continuing college students. We believe education is a vital part of personal growth, faithful living, and preparation for a life of service. These scholarships are one way First UMC continues to support and encourage our youth as they pursue their educational goals and discern God’s calling for their lives. Scholarship applications are due each May, and awards may be renewed annually.
The General Scholarship is supported by the generous contributions of First UMC members and through proceeds from the annual First UMC BBQ, held on the first Friday of each November.
