How to Become a Member
1. Worship with Us
Spend time getting to know First United Methodist Church, Conway, by worshiping with us and participating in the life of the congregation.
2. Connect with Clergy or Staff
When you’re ready, speak with a member of our clergy or church staff. They’ll answer your questions and explain the membership process.
3. Share Your Information
We’ll help gather any needed information, including baptism details and transferring membership from a previous church, if applicable.
4. Make Your Membership Commitment
New members are invited to affirm their commitment to the church by supporting its ministry through their prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness, as outlined in the United Methodist Book of Discipline.
5. Get Connected
Once you join, we’ll help you connect with ministries, small groups, and opportunities to serve, so you can grow in faith and build meaningful relationships.
